Christmas Coookies

Connor and Ryan had fun making Christmas cookies this year. There weren't big fans of eating the cookies, but they liked to help make them. It is hard to believe that they are such picky eaters that they won't even eat cookies that they make!

Christmas Tree

We went to a tree farm in Half Moon Bay this year to search for that perfect Christmas tree. And here it is with Connor and Ryan standing in front of it before we cut it down.
Ed cut down the tree with LOTS of help from Connor and Ryan.
They had just about as much fun decorating the tree as it was to pick it out!
And here it is all decorated with the stockings hung over the fireplace.

Thanksgiving

This year we had Thanksgiving at our house and Grandma, Grandpa, Great Gramma, Tom, Cara, Cody, and Tyler came to celebrate with us. Below is a picture of Connor and Ryan reading to Tyler.
Below is a picture of Great Gramma reading to Ryan, Cody, and Connor.

Dani, Cody, and the beach

In November, over Veteran's Day weekend, we went down to Arroyo Grande for Tania's baby shower. While there, Len, Mary, Dani, and Cody were visiting on their way back from their cruise. Below is a picture of Cody, Danielle, Connor and Ryan at the beach. The tide was too high, so they couldn't go down to play in the sand.
Great-Grandma had her hands full with all the kids!

Halloween!

For Halloween, my office had a Halloween party, including a costume contest and a team pumpkin carving contest. Below is a picture of me in my Raggedy Ann costume. I didn't win the costume contest, but my team did win the pumpkin carving contest.
Connor and Ryan dressed up as dragons to go trick-or-treating. It was a chilly night. After getting treats at the first house, Connor said "another one." He had fun at the first house, so he wanted to do more! We walked around the block and hit a couple houses. Before we got in the house, they went through all their candy and chose a juice box that they had to have TONIGHT. With choices like chocolate and sugar, my kids want juice :)

Clowns!

Happy Halloween! We went to two Halloween parties last weekend. On Saturday, Connor and Ryan dressed up as clowns, complete with makeup.

They thought they looked funny, so they laughed at each other.

At the party, there were soccor relays. Connor and Ryan enjoyed kicking the soccor balls around.

Another Pumpkin Patch

We went to another pumpkin patch today. This time we went Uesugi Farm in Morgan Hill. It was a warm, sunny day. Hard to believe it was cold and raining just a couple days ago.
The flowers were so pretty, Connor had to stop to smell them.

My little pumpkin kings...

Pumpkin Patch

Today we went to Half Moon Bay to visit two pumpkin patches. Connor and Ryan ran all through the fields searching for the perfect pumpkins.
At times it was difficult to navigate walking through all those pumpkins...
There sure were lots of pumpkins to choose from.
Connor blends in with the pumpkins in his orange sweatshirt!
The pumpkins were surrounded by rows of corn. Those were fun to run through too!
Connor and Ryan fed the goats at the petting zoo.

After all the running around and searching for that perfect pumpkin, Connor and Ryan were tired and ready for their nap. They needed some help out to the car and took a ride in the wheel barrow. We found three pumpkins to follow us home and had a great adventure.

Baby Tyler

Last weekend we met Connor and Ryan's new cousin, Tyler. He was born on 9/20 and sure is a cutie.

It is hard to believe Connor and Ryan were ever this size, and they were actually about half the size of Tyler, who was over 9 lbs when born!Connor and Ryan weren't too interested in Tyler. They had more fun playing with Cody.

Gemini Crickets Fall Picnic

On Saturday, we went to the Gemini Crickets Fall Picnic. Connor got his face painted with a rocket and got a balloon twisted into a giraffe.
Ryan got a puppy painted on his face and got a balloon twisted as a dog.
The boys enjoyed the bouncy house and the really big slides at the park.

Disneyland 9/20-9/22

To celebrate Ed's 30th birthday, we spent three days at Disneyland and California Adventure with Granny and Grandpa. This was Connor and Ryan's first visit to Mickey Mouse's house and they LOVED it! They weren't so sure sure about the characters at first, but quickly warmed up to them.

Our first ride at Disneyland was "It's a Small World." Connor didn't want to get in the boat at first, but once the boat started to move, he enjoyed it. After the first ride, they were up for anything.

The lines averaged 5-10 minutes with the longest wait being about half an hour.

I think Grandpa is having too much fun on the teacups.

On Day 2 we became honorary citizens of Disneyland and got to open the park. We got some bad information from Disneyland employees and arrived at the park before it opened and were at the front of the line waiting for the park to open. It turned out well because we were able to rush to the Finding Nemo ride in the beginning before the line got too long. Everyone else had the same idea and that line got crowded pretty quickly.
Disneyland was decorated for Halloween while we were there.
On day 3, it was raining in the morning, but cleared up pretty quickly.

Connor and Ryan got to meet the Disney twins (Chip and Dale).
