Hypnotized

Connor and Ryan were hypnotized by a video they were watching tonight. We don't let them watch TV too much, so this was a treat for them. Every time I watch the video I attached below, I crack up laughing. If you can tell what they are saying, let me know, because I have no clue. They were so into the video, they sat staring at the TV until the show was over. They kept pointing at the screen and squeeling. When cars were on the screen, they kept saying "beep, beep."

Notice how Connor is leaning in the picture below? That is because I was getting in his way of the TV.

Sleepy

The boys must have been a bit sleepy when they came home from daycare today. They found their blankie and bear-bear, then came to the kitchen, put their blankie down and layed down to take a nap before dinner. Granted, the nap lasted about 15 seconds, but it was kinda cute.

Gimme a Hug

There is just something about little people hugging and kissing ... it is so damn cute!

Connor, Ryan and Cody are at the age that they can give hugs on command, and when you tell them to give a hug or kiss, they well practically tackle each other to follow through on that hug. Here are some cute pictures of the little ones giving those hugs and kisses. Enjoy the pictures.

The three boys had fun together, even sharing well and playing nice, which at times can be alot to ask of a 2 year old.

Cody's birthday party - the BIG 02

Connor and Ryan went to Cousin Cody's 2nd birthday party today. The party was at Little Gym in Santa Rosa with about 15 kids there. All the kids had a blast.

This was Connor and Ryan's favorite part of the gym. They just loved climbing up this wall.

Connor was getting frustrated with Ryan's "help" in this picture. Connor was being a good sport and letting Ryan "help" him with the police car, but he kept trying to point ryan to his own car so he could play with the toy by himself.

These balls were hooked to the ceiling and bounced everywhere when you pulled on them. Pretty cool!

Birthday Cody got a special ride in the parachute.

The birthday boy got a special ride to parade around all his friends.

Cody needed some help from dad to blow out the candles.

After the party, we went to Cody's house for his favorite dinner (macaroni 'n cheese and hot dogs). Connor and Ryan got in bed around 8:30pm (late for them), so they should sleep well tonight with such a busy day.

Trouble?

These faces look like trouble to me? What do you think?

If you can't tell, Connor is on the left and Ryan is on the right (with his head in a basket).

The boot saga continues...

Once again, Connor and Ryan had to wear their rain boots with their pajamas. They do love those boots, but just don't understand that they don't need to wear shoes to bed.

Splashing in puddles (video)

Rain boots

It's raining, and you know what that means ... RAIN BOOTS! Connor and Ryan got so excited this morning when I got their rain boots out to wear. Connor didn't want his diaper or socks or clothes on ... just his rain boots. I think daycare would have had a problem if we showed up like that? I got his diaper on, but then he was fighting me on the socks (usually he loves to get his socks on). I told him that he needed to get his socks on before he could wear his boots. He understood what I was saying and immediately got cooperative. They are so proud of those bright yellow rain boots, even if they are a bit big on them. Now we just have to make it up to the snow so they can wear their SNOW boots.

After work, I let the boys go splash in the puddles in their rain boots. They had a blast!

But, then Ryan decided to put their hands in the water (and Connor copied) and got his hands dirty. They both had to run to me to wipe their hands off. They can not stand dirty hands!

Before & After

Well, the boys got their hair cut a couple weeks ago, but every time I look at pictures of them right before their haircut, I think WOW what a difference, so here is a before and after picture. If you can't tell, this picture is of Ryan. The first was taken about a week before his haircut, the second was taken about a week after his haircut. As you can tell, he was definitely overdue for the cut.

Stickers

Connor and Ryan came each came home with two stickers today. They were so proud of their stickers (stuck to each hand) and had to keep watching their stickers while they were getting in/out of the car and walking around the house to make sure they didn't fall off. One of Ryan's kept falling off, so he would cry and run to me with the sticker pointing to his hand for me to put it back on.

Ed and I got some bricks last weekend to build up the vegetable garden to separate it from the lawn. The project is still in-process, but the boys don't care. They like to play on the bricks and throw the dirt around. I guess it is just a new toy to them.

Zoo

Connor and Ryan love the zoo. We spent Saturday (2/17/07) at Happy Hollow Park and Zoo in San Jose.

Valentine's Day

Connor and Ryan just loved the balloons they got for Valentine's Day. They just kept giggling at each other while playing with their balloons. We had a good V-day.

My first post

Happy Tuesday everyone! It was back to work after a nice three day weekend.
Tania and Matt came to visit for the weekend and we had a great time with them. We spent Saturday at Happy Hollow Zoo and walked to the playground at Shoreline on Sunday. On Monday, I worked on my garden in the backyard since the weather was so nice.
What do you think of my new blog?
Do you like the picture of the two-headed cat?
