Hidden Villa Farm

Today we went to Hidden Villa Farm. Connor and Ryan enjoyed chasing the chickens, petting the resident cat, and seeing the cows, goats, and pigs.
Connor tried his hardest to feed the goat a leaf, but the goat wasn't interested. Poor Connor, he kept chasing the goat with his hand out to feed him.
Below are two of the 3 day old baby goats.
Below is Connor petting the sheep. Isn't the baby lamb cute!

Deer Creek Farm

Today we went to Rancho San Antonio in Los Altos and took a short hike (about 2.5 miles total) to Deer Creek Farm. It was quite warm out there. After we *finally* found a parking spot, we were off. We even saw a deer roaming the parking lot while we were searching for a spot.
Connor and Ryan enjoyed looking at the sheep, goat, chickens and pigs.
It was a pretty walk. Tomorrow, we get to see more animals at the Hidden Villa Farm with the twins group.

David and Bryan's birthday party

We went to David and Bryan's 2nd birthday party today. It was a carnival theme, so we had fun playing carnival games.
We won lots of prizes!
Below Connor and Ryan are playing treasure hunt with David and Bryan (the birthday boys)
Below are the two birthday boys (Bryan-left, David-right) with their mom

Grandma and Grandpa come to visit

Grandma and Grandpa got lots of practice reading book after book after book ...

Doesn't Connor look so big in this picture??? My little boys are growing up.

Teamwork

Connor and Ryan love to look at family pictures and point out every in the pictures. They call themselves "babies" in the pictures. They are very good at pointing out Cousin Cody in the pictures and can point out Grandma and Grandpa too.
Don't we look like we are getting in trouble in this pictures. But, when we get it trouble, it is usually a team effort!
The truck Ryan is riding is meant to store cars, but Connor and Ryan both love to ride on it. It is long enought that they can both fit on it at the same time or they can push each other.
We love doing everything together!

Sticker Overload

Can you have too many stickers? Connor and Ryan don't think so...

Our Birthday Party!

Yes, Connor and Ryan are very helpful little buggers. The party started at 10:30am, so we didn't have a lot of time to setup before everyone showed up. Below, you can see Connor and Ryan, still in their pajamas helping Daddy blow up balloons for the party. Ryan would pick out the balloons and put them on the nozzle so Daddy could blow them up. Connor was also right there helping too. I don't think Daddy could have handled this big job all by himself, or at least that is what they thought.
Look at all those balloons!
All the food is setup waiting for people to come and the dogs are ready in their birthday hats!
Isn't this a cute cake? ...even if Connor and Ryan won't touch it because there is frosting. The boys got frosting-less cupcakes to keep them happy :)
All these dogs are waiting to be adopted. Each kid got a dog tag to decorate and then chose a dog to take home with them.
Ok, now we are ready for everyone to come and party with us...
Danielle tested out the bean-bag toss.
Cody is having fun playing outside...
Ella is being attacked by all the dogs!

Cody and Cody are decorating their dog collars.

Connor, Ryan, and Danielle are coloring pictures of dogs.

It wasn't easy getting Connor and Ryan to stop playing long enough to have their cake...But, it sure is yummy cake!

Connor and Ryan were able to open all the presents by themselves. They were very good at helping each other open the presents. Such teamwork!

Isn't the hat cool!A birthday party isn't complete without a mess!
