Memorial Day Weekend

For Memorial Day Weekend, we went to Arroyo Grande to visit Granny and Grandpa. On Saturday we spent the morning at the pool. It was foggy, so the boys preferred the hot tub to the pool. They especially enjoyed getting in and out and splashing in the puddles.

The boys weren't too sure about the pool at first when they figured out they couldn't go too far until they could no longer touch the ground. And, those life vests didn't keep them from going face first in the water.
On Sunday, we went to the beach with Matt and Tania.
The boys were having fun until they ventured too close to the water and a wave came in. Ryan ended up falling in the water, then Connor fell on top of him. They both got soaked and ran crying to us.

We had to take off their wet sandles to keep them happy.

Then, they enjoyed digging their feet into the sand.

Children's Discovery Museum

We went to the Children's Discovery Museum today. We got there a couple minutes early, so the boys ran around on the grass for a bit, playing follow the leader.

Connor and Ryan had so much fun at the museum.
Connor LOVED the floating balls. It was difficult to get him away from this exhibit. Just when we thought we got away, he would run back for more.
Now, this is a BIG dog!
Ryan was trying to feed Cleo a block.

Clifford is so big, both boys could fit inside his food bowl.

Connor got to meet Clifford in person. He started out brave, then ran to me crying. I guess Clifford was a bit scary. Ryan did't meet Clifford. He was too busy playing in the water

Connor and Ryan just LOVED the water exhibit. They could have spend the entire day here.

The boys were so sweet to take Mommy to play at the Children's Discovery Museum for Mother's Day weekend. We all had fun.
