A message from Connor and Ryan...

Here is a video message from Connor and Ryan to Grandma and Grandpa...

Here is another video message. Connor and Ryan are saying hi to various people. Sorry to those that Connor and Ryan forgot to say hi to. Even if you don't get a "hi" in the video, we still love you!

They love to watch themselves on the camera after they finish their videos (and during!). In the video, Connor is complaining about wanting to see Connor and Ryan on the other side. He is talking about seeing themselves on the viewing side of the camera. The problem is, they want to see themselves, but when they come over to look at the picture they aren't there anymore!

No More Cribs!

Connor and Ryan are now sleeping in their "big boy" beds. Their twin beds have been set up in their new bedroom for a few months now, but Connor and Ryan have preferred sleeping in their cribs in their old room. We removed the sides from the cribs about a month ago so their cribs were "toddler beds" since Connor and Ryan were climbing/falling over the side. On Friday night, we moved the cribs into the Mickey room with their twin beds to get them use to that room. They didn't mind the room switch since they helped us move their cribs, but they still slept in their cribs instead of the big beds. On Saturday night, Connor and Ryan helped us take down their cribs and put them away. That night they slept on their "big boy" beds with no problem. Since they helped us put the cribs away, they knew that they couldn't sleep on them anymore. The transition went surprisingly well. I was expecting them to ask for their cribs to sleep in, but they happily climbed into their big beds and slept there all night long. Below are some pictures of their new room. When they get older, the beds will stack together as bunk beds.

A Fun Day!

On President's Day, we spent the day at Happy Hollow Park and Zoo. We spent over 6 hours at the park and never even made it to the animals! Connor, Ryan, David, and Bryan played on the playgrounds and rode the rides at Happy Hallow non-stop.
Connor and Ryan chickened out on the first merry-go-round, but had fun the second time around when Connor got to ride the seahorse and Ryan got to ride the turtle.
Connor, Ryan, David and Bryan rode together in the lady bug. Connor wasn't too happy when yellow was the only color available when we got to the front of the line, so we had to wait for a red bug before he would ride. Then all four boys ride the ride about four times in a row.
The cars were a hit too!
The boys shared their snacks. Connor and Ryan even suprised us by eating the raisins David and Bryan brought to share.
