Game Night

Last night we broke out the board games and had a game night. We played Lucky Ducks, Candy Land, and Good Night Moon.

The boys loved playing the board games and Ed and I had fun playing with them. But, I forgot how boring board games are that are oriented towards 3-year-olds. I definitely can't stand more than one round of Candy Land in a day... at least not without going insane. That is why we played three different games, one round of each.

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day! We went to the Oakland Zoo today.
The weather was beautiful. We all had a great time at the zoo. Connor and Ryan were running around non-stop in all their excitement. It is always fun to watch 3-year-olds when they are so excited over the simplest things. Connor was a bit disappointed that we didn't find any ducks or mice at the zoo, but he got over that.
Ryan took a stumble running around at the zoo, and got a nice, bloody knee. He was happy when we got back to the car and he got a band-aid to fix his "bright red boo-boo".

Swim Lessons

Connor and Ryan are taking swimming lessons, which go for 10 weeks. The lessons will go through the end of June. Their initial reaction to the swim lessons was crying, but now that they are use to the water, Connor and Ryan both love it. Their teacher is Maggie and she is great with kids.
Most of the lessons are just the teacher with Connor and Ryan, so they get lots of personal attention. In the pictures, Connor is wearing the green goggles and Ryan is wearing the purple goggles.
