Swim lessons

The kids have been taking swim lessons all summer. Now, there is only two weeks left. In the picture below, Connor and Ryan both wanted to help carry the backpack, so they carried it together as we walking to swim lessons.
Ryan was so proud of his new pet. He found an ant and named in Vanesse.
The ant flew away. The boys looked everywhere, but the ant was gone.
Below is a picture from a couple weeks ago with the kids lined up to get in the pool. Their teacher for that lesson was Chris and the girl in front is their new friend Kylee. Kylee has been in their class for the last four weeks and the boys get very excited to see her every day.

Park

While I went to Sacramento for Megan's baby shower, Ed and Joe got together for a playdate... or maybe the kids had the playdate?
Anyways, looks like everyone had fun.

Comfortable?

Here is a picture of Connor watching TV. Doesn't he look comfy?

Fireworks

We spent 4th of July in Arroyo Grande.
We got sparklers for Connor and Ryan to play with and walked around the neighborhood to look at all the fireworks. The neighbors put on quite a show, complete with (illegal) fireworks shot overhead.
The boys were excited to see and do the fireworks. The loved the booms, colors and sparks.
It was hard for them to wait until it was dark. They kept running to the door to check if it was dark yet...

Strother Park with Anna

We spent the morning of July 4th at Strother Park with Matt, Tania and Anna. In the below picture Connor and Anna are swinging.

Swimming Pool with Grandpa

On July 3, Grandpa took us to SLO Bay Inn to go swimming.
The boys got to show Grandpa everything they have learned so far from swim lessons.

They thought they were hot stuff in their inner tubes. They could jump in the pool by themselves and practice their kicking to get around the pool.
They love going under the water now.
I think the goggles look better on Connor...
