Sunnyvale Health and Safety Fair

At the end of May we went to the Sunnyvale Health and Safety Fair. The kids got to see firetrucks, police cars, ambulances, and a rescue plane as well as lots of booths and giveaways. The highlight was watching the rescue helicopter take off to leave in the afternoon.

Reading

The day has finally come... the kids can read bedtime stories to me :) I love it! They aren't even in kindergarten yet and they are reading, writing, doing addition, and subtraction. They both love math and enjoy quizzing each other on math problems in the car or at the dinner table.

Fire Station

On May 2, we went on a fire station tour with the twins club.
We got a tour of the fire station, got to see a fire man slide down the pole, got to meet the fire dog (Connor and Ryan were disappointed the dog wasn't real), and go inside the fire truck.

All the kids got a fire safety coloring book and a firetruck eraser.
