Disneyland 9/20-9/22

To celebrate Ed's 30th birthday, we spent three days at Disneyland and California Adventure with Granny and Grandpa. This was Connor and Ryan's first visit to Mickey Mouse's house and they LOVED it! They weren't so sure sure about the characters at first, but quickly warmed up to them.

Our first ride at Disneyland was "It's a Small World." Connor didn't want to get in the boat at first, but once the boat started to move, he enjoyed it. After the first ride, they were up for anything.

The lines averaged 5-10 minutes with the longest wait being about half an hour.

I think Grandpa is having too much fun on the teacups.

On Day 2 we became honorary citizens of Disneyland and got to open the park. We got some bad information from Disneyland employees and arrived at the park before it opened and were at the front of the line waiting for the park to open. It turned out well because we were able to rush to the Finding Nemo ride in the beginning before the line got too long. Everyone else had the same idea and that line got crowded pretty quickly.
Disneyland was decorated for Halloween while we were there.
On day 3, it was raining in the morning, but cleared up pretty quickly.

Connor and Ryan got to meet the Disney twins (Chip and Dale).

Day at the Park - 9/1/07

Discovery Kingdom

In August, we went to Discovery Kingdom (former Marine World) with Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Tom, Aunt Cara, and Cousin Cody. We spent 8 hours at the park and everyone had a great time.

Ryan loved the water feature that squirted water at him. He got soaked, so luckily we brought a spare set of clothes.

I rode the Harold the Helocopter ride with Connor and Ryan. They wouldn't let Ed ride because he was too tall.

The below picture is Connor on the Bertie the Bus ride.

Here we are waiting for a show to start.
Below is Connor, Cody, and Ryan at lunch time.
Below is a pic of Ryan.

Below is Thomas the Train, Connor's favorite ride.See Ed and Connor in the Thomas the Train ride. This was Connor's favorite ride. He went on this ride at least three times. He had to go again right away after the first trip on the train. Ryan didn't want to go again right away, so we waited and waved.
Below is Ryan waving at Connor and Daddy as they went by on the train.

August Pictures

Eli came to visit with Grandma and Grandpa. Below is a picture of Connor giving Eli a kiss. How sweet! They are best buddies.
Below Connor and Ryan are playing in their new bunk beds. They still sleep in their cribs, but the bunk beds are fun to play on...Connor and Ryan enjoyed Steve's visit. He read to them and they got to climb all over him.
We went to the Children's Discovery Museum in San Jose. Clifford tried to suffocate Ryan. Connor was smart and didn't want to get too close.
We enjoyed a fun weekend with Tania also...
Below are pictures from our visit to Grandma and Grandpa in Rohnert Park.

Decorating the new playroom

We painted the new playroom with hills, clouds, airplanes, and trains. We set up the bunk beds in the former play room (Mickey Mouse room). It took awhile to paint the room with so many colors, but it turned out pretty good.
