On New Year's Day, I ran the 5 mile Los Gatos New Years Resolution Run. Connor and Ryan ran the kids races while I was running. Below is a picture of us sporting our bib numbers.
The race started at 9am with 350 runners. The first 300 runners and all the kids got a goodie bag. I got a bag, so I didn't come in last :) I finished the run in 56 minutes. There were a couple pretty steep hills in the course.
Connor and Ryan loved running the track and participating in the race like Mommy.
They were proud of their ribbon and goodie bags.
They had so much fun in the little kid (3-6 year old) 100 yard race that they kept on running to the other side of the track where the starting line for the big kids (7-11 years old) was and did that race too, which was half a lap. All together, I think Connor and Ryan ran 1 mile or so because they ran warm ups with me too. Needless to say, they had a good nap today!
