We made it to the start with time to stretch, use the porta potties, and take pictures. Below is the four of us ready to race.
In the below picture, Connor definitely has the "when do we start" expression on his face.
And, they are off... Mile 2 and the boys are still going strong.
Um, I think the boys made a wrong turn. This is the 10 mile marker. Didn't anyone tell them that a 5k is 3.1 miles, not 10 miles????
Oh, there is the 3 mile marker... almost home.
And the boys made it. They finished the 5k in 1 hour 5 minutes and got their medals.

I ran the half marathon and finished in 2 hours 30 minutes. It was a hot day in San Francisco, and the half marathon course had lots of hills. It was nice to see cheerleaders, bands and choirs along the course to encourage the runner.
We did it! We all won and got our medals.

And, when we got home, Connor and Ryan insisted they were not tired, but ended up crashing on the living room floor at 3pm.
I tried waking the boys up at 5pm and 6pm, but they would not budge. At 6pm, I carried them to their beds. Now, at 7:30pm, they are still sleeping. At this point, I sure hope they keep sleeping until morning, because otherwise they will be up all night long. I don't remember the last time they crashed this hard.
