Father's Day in Sacramento

Ed at Boys State in Sacramento for Father's Day, so went to Sacramento to spend the weekend with Daddy. On Saturday, while Ed was busy, the boys played with their wiggle cars.

Those wiggle cars can be tiring!

On Sunday morning, Ed was busy with his Boys State duties, so I took the kids to Fairytale Town and zoo. The pond in the below picture is outside Fairytale Town. We arrived at the park early, so we got to watch the ducks.

Fairytale Town was a cute little park that had many exhibits and play areas, each featuring a different fairy tale.
Connor and Ryan met a "girlfriend" at Fairytale Town. Sutton is in the below picture and the boys made sure they followed them all around the park. It was very entertaining to watch the three of them interact.
The Sacramento Zoo is across the street from Fairytale Town, so we went there too. I was going to skip it, but the boys insisted because Sutton was going over there. They just had to find her again...
After the busy morning, we went to Sac State where Ed was still busy at work. The boys went down for a nap to get some rest before going out for a Father's Day dinner. Ryan woke up crying because he wasn't feeling well. He wouldn't settle down, so we left without going out to dinner. It was a long drive home with both kids complaining about about being sick. I stayed home on Monday with two sick kids....
