Great Grandpa - A Life Worth Celebrating

Last weekend we drove to Oregon to say goodbye to Great Grandpa as he makes his journey to Heaven. Great Grandma was in high spirits as she knew GGrandpa was ready to move on and all the family was coming in to celebrate GGrandpa's life.
This was the first time in a long time that this many of us were together at the same time. GGrandpa is survived by his wife, 3 kids, 9 grandkids and 15 great grandkids.
We were fortunate that someone from the church volunteer to watch the kids during the service and brought toys to entertain the kids at the church. There was a small set of stairs outside the church and the kids enjoyed going up and down the stairs over and over again.
We were also able to enjoy the pool at the hotel...

Goodbyes are never easy, but it was a life worth celebrating. We love you Great Grandpa!
