I think Connor must be teaching Zachary a trick or two. It has been cold lately, so put mittens on Zachary to keep his hands warm. He wasn't too thrilled because he couldn't suck his thumb. It didn't take him long to figure out how to get his thumb out to suck on it.
Zachary has also figured out how to use his thumb at night to put himself back to sleep. The last two nights, Zachary has slept through the night from about 9pm until I have to wake him up at 7am so he can eat before we take Connor and Ryan to school. I know, I hate to wake a sleeping baby, but I turn the light on and he figures out it is morning pretty quickly. Two nights ago, he woke up at 4am, but before we could get him, he was already sucking his thumb and back asleep. Last night he started to stir around 5:30am, but went back to sleep on his own. Unfortunately, last night Zachary slept through the night, but I still got a 4am wake up when Connor crawled into our bed after having a bad dream.
